Here's some photos... to prove that I pulled it off! LoL.

First I traced a lid that was about 4 1/2" across 8 times. 4 on each fabric.
Then I cut the 4 circles out.
I then folded them in half and ironed them flat.
Using a ruler I cut each circle in half where I had ironed them.
I then folded the halves in half (inside out).
Using a sewing machine I sewed one side of each half circle. (No cutting yet!)
I then cut them apart and turned them right side out.
I hand stitched the bottoms of 10 of them together, rotating fabrics.
I repeated the above with the last six petals for the top layer.
(This is where you could also sew them together.)
I decided to add glitter to the flowers using Elmer's, a paint brush, and some sprinkle glitter.
I then sewed the two layers together and cut the extra threads.
I used a hot glue gun to add this cute embellishment in the center to hide the stitching.
I used my flower as a head piece by using hot glue and mounting it onto a metal head band.
Again, thanks to the above mentioned blogger for the great idea! I thought there were WAY too many steps, but I pulled it off and would try it again! And Elise, thanks for cheering me on while working on your head piece! It's nice to be reminded that it doesn't have to be PERFECT! <3
