Spring Crafts

Have you ever been so bored that you surrender to little voice in your head?  Well, usually I am 100% opposed to crafts that are messy.  I am open to my kids trying whatever crafts their hearts desire... at school or someone else's house, just not mine.  But I decided to go wild!  We got out some scissors, glitter glue, crayons, paper, glue sticks & whatnot and made a (small) mess.

Yes, you might be thinking that my supply list is lame.  But this is me, the person who is opposed to craft messes, so that glitter glue is WAY out of my comfort zone.

Anyway, the kiddos had fun.  The mess was minimal.  And we now have some adorable Spring Decor.  (Well, we will... after the glitter glue dries!)

Seed Season

Luke and I decided to buy everything we'd need to plant some seeds.  He didn't care what we planted, as long as he could help so Momma decided to plant things that we could eat;  Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Green Beans, & Cilantro.  Later we'll plant them outside with pumpkins and such.  But for now, they are inside... stinking up my house.

I found a few books about seeds and how they grow so Alexyss read them to Luke while I gathered all of our supplies.  After that we planted our seeds.  Alexyss then named all of the seeds she planted, and encouraged Luke to do the same.  They have enjoyed watching them change each and every day and are looking forward to tasting everything in a few months.

Anyone else planting seeds?
